With RAMPD, I discovered a dedicated group of disability advocates who get the work done that needs to get done, with no apologies and filled with practical and refreshing authenticity.
In joining their conversations, and contributing some of the successful approaches I’ve had on the AD side, I found some combined power!
In all of the perspectives and opportunities shared, I enjoyed working closely with RAMPD to provide messaging on accessibility opportunities, particularly with including blind professionals.
Guiding the conversation away from fear to leadership helps emphasize the leadership that the Recording Academy is owning when it comes to the inclusion, integration, and celebration of both disabled music professionals and their audiences.
Here’s more, an interview with Lachi and Precious.
